Solid Mastering prices at a glance
The published stereo and stem rates below are per song. Mixing and mastering is quoted individually because the amount of multitrack work varies. Check the service and order pages for the current terms and final order total.
What the stereo mastering price includes
Stereo mastering starts with one finished stereo mix. Carlo Camera reviews the supplied audio and refines tonal balance, dynamics and translation using processing selected for the song. You receive a release-ready high-resolution master digitally, with a direct point of contact for feedback.
Revisions are included to refine the agreed artistic direction. That is different from replacing the arrangement, supplying a substantially changed mix or requesting additional versions. Explain those needs before work begins so the scope and delivery are clear.

Why stem mastering costs more
Stem mastering uses grouped audio, such as drums, bass, music and vocals, rather than a single stereo file. The additional work involves checking those groups, refining their balance and processing the combined result. At Solid Mastering, up to four stems cost €120 per song; up to eight cost €150.
More stems are not automatically better. If the stereo mix already communicates the right balance, a stereo master may be sufficient. If many individual instruments need detailed treatment, a full mix may be the appropriate service instead of an increasingly complicated stem delivery.
What changes a mixing and mastering quote
Track count alone does not describe the whole job. Vocal editing, tuning, the condition of the recordings, effects, reference tracks and alternate versions all affect the required work. Send a rough mix and explain the desired outcome rather than choosing a package by file count alone.
Instrumentals, clean edits, alternate mixes and special delivery formats should be discussed in advance. The quote confirms the work, revisions, timing and price before payment. Mixing does not automatically follow the standard mastering turnaround.
Timing and the information to send
Typical stereo and stem mastering turnaround is 24–48 hours once the files and project information are complete. This is not a guaranteed delivery slot: larger projects and urgent deadlines need individual confirmation. Tell Carlo the release date before placing a time-sensitive order.
- Send the correct stereo file or aligned stems and identify the final mix version.
- Include a reference and concise notes about the sound you want to preserve or change.
- Specify the release format and any additional versions you need.
- Agree album scope and deadlines rather than assuming a per-song timing applies to an entire release.
Hear the approach before committing
If you are deciding whether professional mastering suits your music, request a free mastered preview of one stereo mix. It is an opportunity to hear the direction on your own song, not a promise of a free full mix or stem-mastering session. Choose the service that addresses your actual audio needs, rather than the cheapest or largest package by default.
